PAPER PRESENTATIONS

Amity Law School Noida, one of the pioneer legal institutions in India, is organizing two days Multidisciplinary International Conference on "Emerging Trends and Transformation in Contemporary Society: A Global Futuristic Perspective" - 9th & 10th AUG 2018. This conference intends to bring together Academicians, Researchers, Professionals, Industry Experts and Enthusiasts to discuss and understand the intersection between society, its developmental enterprise and their global trends.

 

The proposed conference has been conceptualized to deliberate and take stock of prevalent global trends due to changes and development in societal structure and their relevance in various facets of humanities, law, technology, life sciences, religious and cultural studies, etc. This conference aims at providing a platform for academia for advancement and promotion in research in emerging areas.

 

Presenters from various academic streams are cordially invited to submit papers before 20th July, 2018. 

 

MAIN THEME

 

The present global world has emerged as a highly differentiated, multi-centred, and multi-layered societal stratification of global dimensions, an ecumenopolis which integrates all the people of the world. Changes in society led to the variation over time in the ecological ordering of population, communities in patterns of roles, social interactions and culture of societies. It exerts powerful influences on every aspect of our lives. Urbanization, globalization and changing norms of society are a few metamorphose of the new social trends.

 

The future roles of the global arena have identified a number of trends shaping roles and relationships in different disciplines. It is evident that substantial transition in the material world and its implications can be felt in various spheres of life.  The history of global trends reveals that the world has truly transformed since its various phases of feudalism, imperialism, colonialism, liberalism, socialism, globalization and sustainability. The concept of development took different forms in different historical periods and has produced changing sets of political, economic, social, legal discourses, its deliberations and their relative effects on each other resulting in recourses of opportunity, sustainability and development.

 

The proposed conference has been conceptualized to deliberate and take stock of prevalent global trends due to changes, development and relevance in different disciplines.

  • To understand the philosophy and deep meaning of the theme of the conference.

Submission Guidelines

 SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Abstract

 

 

1.The abstract shall not exceed 300 words. It should include the title of the paper, keywords, the presenter's name, designation, institutional affiliation, mailing address, contact number and E-mail ID.


2. The abstract shall be sent to internationalconferenceamity@gmail.com  with the subject line “Abstract - International Conference”.

 

3. Intimation for acceptance/improvisation will be provided within 2-3 working days from the last date of the submission of abstract.

 

4. All Abstracts will be published in the form of Conference Proceedings.

 

Full Paper

 

1. The length of full paper including tables, diagrams, illustrations, references, etc. should be 3000-8000 words. The paper should be typed in Times New Roman 12-point font with 1.5 spacing.


2. Bluebook 20th Edition/APA shall be strictly followed for Footnoting and referencing.


3. The full paper should be submitted in soft copy and shall be sent to internationalconferenceamity@gmail.com with the subject line “Full Paper - International Conference” along with the certificate of originality duly filled by the presenter(s).

 

 

 

 

 

4. Selected papers may be published in an edited book by reputed National publisher with ISBN number.

Presentation Guidelines

Paper Presentation Guidelines

Presenters are solely responsible for the creation of their presentation. The presentation should be based on the approved/accepted paper but may include updates and related additional content. A paper must be presented otherwise it will not be published. Only

the listed presenters may present their paper.

 


For a successful and productive conference, all presenters should adhere to the following guidelines:

  • PowerPoint Presentation (PPT) is encouraged for presentation at the conference. If giving power Point Presentation (PPT), presenter(s) should save their presentation in .pdf or .ppt format on a flash drive (pen drive/memory stick). Cloud-based storage (e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive) and presentation software (e.g. Prezi) should not be used as access to the internet is not guaranteed. A Windows laptop and projector will be made available in each presentation room.

 

  • All presentations are to be in English. The presenter(s) should be able to understand and respond to audience questions in English.

 

  • Presentations are to be 8-10 minutes, inclusive of 3 minutes for questions. Arrive at your session room 15 minutes before the session begins to upload your presentation to the provided laptop. Presentation from the personal laptops may be acceptable, but compatibility with the projector cannot be guaranteed.

 

  • It is suggested for presenter(s) to dress professionally.
